ShortGolf® Hires Kelly McCammon as CEO North America/Asia/Pacific

Columbus, OH (November 20, 2018)– Golf industry veteran Kelly McCammon has joined ShortGolf as CEO North America/Asia/Pacific. As CEO, McCammon will be focused on global strategic partnerships and will work to enrich the current agreements with The First Tee, the PGA TOUR, and the LPGA Girls Golf programs.

“I am honored to be a part of this exciting company that will grow the game of golf all over the world,” said McCammon.  “Our focus in North America will be starting 4-7 year old short golf leagues for girls and boys and ensuring there are more after school programs for this age group.  In addition, we will be building alliances with the Boys and Girls Clubs, Parks and Recreation Associations and Skyhawks Camps.”

McCammon has been a Class A PGA professional since 1996.   He has presented or participated on panels for the National Golf Course Owners Association, LPGA, PGA sections, Executive Women’s Golf Association, International Network of Golf, Crittenden, Association of Health and Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, National Recreation and Park Association, YMCA, and numerous sporting related groups.

Prior to his arrival at ShortGolf, Kelly was a managing partner with IronHorse Holdings, a private equity firm providing risk assessment, capital guidance and asset protection.  He also played a pivotal role as Vice President of Business Development for an international golf company called SNAG Golf and implemented a strategic partnership for its expansion into North America resulting in a first-year gross revenue of $1 million.

Kelly graduated from the University of Florida in 1990 with a Real Estate degree and a minor in Agronomy.  He and his family reside in Nashville, Tennessee.
